High morale – Good industrial relations improve the morale of the employees. This acted created the NLRB (National Labor Relations Board) which enforced labor law and made sure that fair business practices where upheld. When a wild goose falls out of formation, it suddenly feels the drag and resistance of trying to go it alone, and quickly gets back into formation to take advantage of the lifting power of the bird in front of it. The term "industrial management" became increasingly irrelevant as the nature and content of work shifted to computerization and other spheres of the economy.
